Black Future Coders is an exciting summer coding program for kids aged 10–15. Our mission is to empower young Black students by equipping them with essential tech skills through hands-on learning in HTML, CSS, Scratch, and Python.
We believe in more than just learning how to code. We help kids unlock their creative potential, build confidence, and gain leadership skills to thrive in tomorrow's digital world.
Python
Learn to code in Python and solve real problems
Explore one of the world’s most powerful programming languages. Students will learn how to write real Python code to build games, solve puzzles, and automate tasks—laying the foundation for future careers in data science, AI, and software engineering.
Robotics
Explore the future with robotics and automation
Through virtual robotics challenges and sensor simulations, students will learn how robots think, move, and make decisions. This module blends engineering with code and prepares students to design intelligent systems that interact with the world.
Scratch
Build games, stories, and animations using Scratch
Scratch helps young coders think creatively and reason logically. Kids will use drag-and-drop coding blocks to bring characters to life, design interactive stories, and develop critical problem-solving skills—all while having fun.
Web Design
Design and publish your own website from scratch
Students will dive into the world of HTML and CSS to create their very own personalized webpages. They’ll learn how to structure content, apply visual styles, and bring creative ideas to life on the web—skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
